Less work for you, fewer things to go wrong
Packing takes longer than almost everyone expects, and it is the first thing to slip when a move date gets closer. With our packing and unpacking service, we handle kitchens, bookshelves, wardrobes and cupboards so that fragile items are wrapped and heavy items are not crammed into oversized boxes. Unpacking at the new address means you start living in the house, not out of it.
Furniture is the second big job. A bed frame that came up the stairs in pieces will not come down in one piece, and a wardrobe that is screwed to the wall needs to be taken off it carefully. We disassemble before the move, keep screws and fittings together per item, and reassemble in the right room afterwards, with care for floors, walls and door frames.
You choose what you need. In the price calculator on the homepage you can add packing, unpacking, disassembly and assembly as options to your estimate, or you can book only the assembly. Then we confirm a fixed price quote on WhatsApp based on the details you give us, such as how many rooms, wardrobes and beds are involved.
Packing, disassembly and assembly in detail
Packing before the move
We pack kitchens, bookcases, wardrobes and other rooms, wrap breakable items and label boxes by room so that loading and unloading go quickly and nothing gets mixed up.
Unpacking at the new address
Boxes are brought to the right rooms and unpacked on request, so cupboards, shelves and the kitchen are usable the same day instead of weeks later.
Disassembly of beds and wardrobes
Bed frames, large wardrobes, tables and shelving units are taken apart with the right tools, and the fittings are bagged and labelled per piece of furniture.
Assembly of IKEA-type furniture
Flat-pack furniture, such as PAX-style wardrobes, bed frames and desks, is rebuilt at the new address. If your instructions are available, keep them nearby for the crew.
Tables, cupboards and large pieces
Dining tables with extra leaves, cabinets and big units are measured against the route first. If a doorway is tight, taking the piece apart is often the simplest fix.
Care for your home
We use blankets and straps on furniture, take care around door frames and stairwells, and place pieces where you want them before the crew leaves.

Where we pack and assemble
Our packing and furniture assembly service is available in Amsterdam and the surrounding region. We are based in Oostzaan and work for customers in Zaandam, Zaanstad, Purmerend, Haarlem, Amstelveen, Hoofddorp and Almere, as well as Utrecht, Den Haag and Rotterdam and the rest of the Netherlands. You can book assembly only, for example if you moved yourself, or combine it with a full move. Weekend work is available with a 10 percent surcharge.
