Bought a sofa, a fridge or a wardrobe and no way to get it home? Move Now NL collects and delivers single items and small loads across Amsterdam and the Netherlands, including appliances and bulky pieces, with a two-person crew when needed.
One item or a few, collected and delivered
Not every job is a full move. Sometimes it is a second-hand wardrobe from a marketplace seller, a flat-pack order from IKEA, a washing machine from a shop or an old sofa that has to leave the flat. We run these as courier-style trips, with one or two people and a padded van.
Heavy appliances need two pairs of hands and the right route. We carry fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers upright or on trolleys, and place them where you want them. Connecting to water, gas or electricity is not included, so ask your installer for that.
Because the van is shared with no other customers on the trip, you decide the stops: pick up in one place, drop at another, perhaps collect a second item on the way. Tell us the sizes and floors, and we confirm which van suits the job.
What we collect and deliver
Sofas and living room
Sofas, armchairs, tables and TV units are wrapped in padding and carried to the van, then placed in the right room at your door or in your living room.
Appliance delivery and pickup
Fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers are collected from the shop or seller and delivered to your kitchen or utility room, or taken away from your home.
Marketplace and IKEA pickups
Bought on a marketplace or in a furniture store? We collect the items from the seller or store and bring them straight to your address, including flat-pack boxes.
Assembly and disassembly
Wardrobes, beds and tables can be taken apart so they fit through doors and stairwells, and put together again on delivery, which saves you tools and an afternoon.
Bulky and heavy items
Large cabinets, solid tables, mattresses and heavy pieces are carried by two people with straps, within the payload of the van that suits the job.
Same-day and last minute
Need it today? Same-day transport is subject to availability and adds 60 euros. We are open 24/7, so message us on WhatsApp whenever the item is ready.

Furniture and appliance transport in Amsterdam
We are based in Oostzaan and collect and deliver across Amsterdam every day, from flats in the Jordaan and De Pijp to family homes in Nieuw-West and Noord, and between Amsterdam and Zaandam, Zaanstad, Purmerend, Haarlem and Amstelveen. Pickups from shops and sellers around Hoofddorp, Almere, Utrecht, Rotterdam and Den Haag are possible too, as are longer runs across the Netherlands. For parking at your door, ask your municipality (gemeente) about a parking reservation or permit for the van.
