An office move is mostly a scheduling problem. Desks, chairs, monitors and archive boxes all need to arrive in a usable order, ideally before Monday morning. We plan the sequence with you, so the team that leaves on Friday can sit down at a working desk on the first day.
Our crew dismantles and reassembles desks, shelving and meeting tables, carries filing cabinets and storage boxes, and handles computers, monitors and printers with care. We recommend that your IT contact disconnects and labels cables, so setup at the new location goes quickly.
We move anything that fits comfortably in our VW Crafter and Ford Transit vans. Small and mid-sized offices usually move in one or two loads. For larger offices we plan several trips or run both vans together. We do not bring a lorry or lifting equipment, so we will tell you honestly if a job needs more.
What an office move includes
Evening and weekend work
Move after closing time or on a Saturday or Sunday so staff keep working. Weekend moves carry a 10% surcharge, and we confirm everything in your quote.
Desks dismantled and rebuilt
Workstations, bench desks, shelving units and meeting tables are taken apart, labelled and reassembled in the layout you plan for the new floor.
Computers and equipment
Monitors, desktop computers, printers and small server cabinets are wrapped and secured in the vans. Your IT contact handles cabling and configuration, we handle the transport.
Boxes and archives
Archive boxes, supplies and personal items are carried and stacked per department. We can also pack and unpack if your team has no time for it.
Short-term storage
If your new space is not ready on moving day, we can hold your furniture temporarily for a short period before delivery, so the move does not have to wait.
Phased moves
Spread the move over several evenings or weekends, one team or floor at a time, so the business keeps running while the old office slowly empties.
